The Tecumseh Herald encourages residents to support Tecumseh Kiwanis flag project

Flag project

To the Editor,

Just want to take a moment to thank the Kiwanis members who so faithfully put up the flags this past year. How wonderful it was to look out in my front yard and see an American flag proudly waving at me!

Sometimes I had to stop and think what holiday was coming! But they were on top of it... Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Veteran’s Day... they were all covered by our great Kiwanis members!

What a wonderful site it is to come down your own street and see these flags waving so proudly!

I urge everyone to consider making your $30 donation and enlist in this program... it’s a donation well spent and the money goes to their scholarship program for local students!

If you need more information on this program please call them at 517.673.5331 and leave a message or talk to your favorite Kiwanis member!
